Please sponsor our Molly

Molly is a 5-year-old red female Boxer who was used and abused on a puppy farm, living in a shed of excrement and fed on scraps, when they thought of her.

Molly was probably born there and the hip dysplasia she had was never treated, resulting in severe osteoarthritis in both hips.

Her back has the worst case of spondylitis her vet has ever seen and her vertebrae are fusing together.

Imagine the pain this dog has endured and on top of that she has had numerous litters and given birth alone in that shed, probably passing her disability on to her pups.

We are honoured to have Molly in foster care with us, however we need help with her upkeep to cover food, annual vaccinations, worming, flea treatment, veterinary bills, etc., not to forget the odd treat she so deserves!!

So please help us to defray these costs by sponsoring our Molly.

Molly's life now is very different. She has daily pain relief, clean, comfy and warm surroundings, good food, clean water and regular exercise. She has company of other dogs and most importantly a foster family who love her to bits.

We hope Molly can enjoy this for much longer than the 18 months the vet has given as her prognosis before her back end collapses.

Molly is a wonderful friendly and loving dog, amazing really when she has never known love and kindness.

She sleeps by her fosterer's bed at night and wakes her with a nuzzle each morning

Amanda Collins wrote this, inspired by a walk with Molly

I'll remember this day
This day I ran free
I heard the birds sing
And their song was for me
I'll remember this day
When I'm crippled with pain
The wind in the trees
The soft touch of rain
I'll remember this day
Walking proud with new friends
Learning to play
While my soul starts to mend
I worked hard for my captors
I gave them my health
And they took my children
To increase their wealth
But....
True wealth isn't money
What you give makes you rich
Thanks for giving a chance
To this puppy farm bitch.
