Amber

Amber, about 2 years old, is a full on mongrel, who is approximately 20 inches high at the shoulder.

Her fosterer reports:

Amber has an amazing zest for life, she loves to play and loves water. Within 5 minutes of walking into our house Amber had emptied the toy box and started a game with our Labrador.

Amber loves attention, and is good with other dogs, especially like minded playful souls.

She has met our cats, and although bouncy with them she is learning to respect them so she should be fine with a dog savvy cat at home.

Amber was found dumped in a park with her 3 puppies.

She is a very quick learner, she has learnt sit, down and other general house dog manners as well as having a fairly good recall, all of which are being worked on daily. She has also started working towards her Kennel Club Good Citizen Bronze Award, which she seems to enjoy.

We discovered that Amber has a love of water, she loves to chase our lab into the pond and steal her toys then just generally splash around having fun. She loves to run around with a toy, giving it a good shake and throwing it around, then pouncing on it again.

I think Amber would suit an active home, with her spring and zest for life I think she would enjoy a dog sport like agility or flyball.

Amber will need to be spayed in 3 months.
