5 Year Old Female

Chihuahua (Tiny)

Ava is a beautiful little girl who is looking for a new forever home through no fault of her own. She is a very sweet girl once given time to get to know you. She loves all dogs and is no issue with other dogs out and about or in the park. She must be re homed with at least one other similar sized dog as she does love a cuddle buddy.

She will need new owners who are around for most of the day, as she loves a lap to sit on or by. She is a loving little girl who once she knows you is super affectionate, wanting to give you lots of kisses and will be a wonderful loyal companion. She also has a playful streak which is so lovely and fun to see.

Ava does avoid strangers and gets very scared, so care will need to be taken when out and about to ensure she does not try to run out of fear. Within the house, she will need a safe space to retreat to and gentle introductions of new people. She is a quiet little lady, who rarely barks at all unless the other dogs around her do. A secure garden is a must for Ava, as she is so tiny and could slip through gaps.

Ava is fine with cats, most are much larger than she is. As Ava is nervous we would prefer a home without children. Visiting children will be fine. She travels fine in the car and walks well on a harness and lead.

She has been neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped, and is up to date with flea and worming treatment. Ava has also had a full dental.

She is currently on foster in Hampton Hill, Middlesex. For further details regarding dogs available from Pro Dogs Direct please email or visit our website and complete an online application form. (Please note application form not IPad or phone compatible). Home checks and set donation apply.
