Freda's diary 

8th August 2009   

Today mum got us all up really early; much too early for me, but there you go. She took Buddy and me to a place called Pets At Home. When we got there I saw my Auntie Jane again. She had brought me a special dog buggy to sit in.  It was wonderful. I sat in it for most of the day looking beautiful and lots of nice people came over to stroke me, which I really liked.

Auntie bought me an ice cream. I've never had one of those before, but it was really nice. I did enjoy being made such a fuss of and when I was tired I just lay down in my buggy and had a sleep.

Mum says we did well that day, talking to lots of people about the place that I came from. Some people even had a go on something called a tombola, a few won prizes too. She didn't let me have a go though, but she said I was the star of the day.
