Cherry

Cherry is a Staffie/Boxer-cross of no more than 18 months we estimate.

Her temporary carer reports:

Cherry is a very gentle natured female. She has been pushed to the limit (not purposely) with certain dogs she has met and has either just not reacted or walked away. Quite frankly she's more stable than my dog!

She walks well on a lead after her initial excitement and likes to meet other dogs but does not go too over the top. However, I haven't let her off lead when out or loose in the garden with mine as my dog gets silly and I didn't want him winding Cherry up.

Cherry isn't guarding with her toys, her food or anything like that. You can take it off her with no issues.

She does like to bolt around the garden when she gets excited but is very responsive to commands and really listens. Cherry pings from 0 to fast in no time and hoofs around like she's just had a bath.

Cherry is very attentive. She will jump up, but I've been working on telling her down.

She's been in the back of my car and is very well behaved and travels extremely well.

Apart from a sneeze last night, I haven't heard a noise from her, considering my Jack Russell is a Victor Meldrew at times.

Cherry is very clean and always does her business outside, she has never had an accident.

Cherry really is a wonderful dog and deserves someone who will care for her 100%+. She deserves no less.

She also does not react to fireworks- unlike my dog. She is very friendly with people but will jump up.

Cherry has a habit of putting her legs around my neck and giving me a wash when I'm sat down. She is very affectionate and very loving.

She does get worried if people shout and has flinched like someone's going to smack her which doesn't surprise me 'cos her first owner apparently beat her.
