Dill Dill is a 5-year-old ex-breeding Cocker Spaniel. Dill is at present in a foster home with a single man and his dogs where she has no problems at all. A similar home would be best for her or a couple where the main carer is a man. Dill needs a very experienced home where she will be treated firmly but fairly. She must not be allowed to have things all her own way. Although she does show affection to her fosterer and his extended family, she is not the ideal family dog. She can find stroking and over affection threatening especially by strangers. She is good though with dogs of all sizes and could live with a well behaved dog or two but would prefer to eat her food alone. She is at present worried about being left but travels well in the car and may suit some one working from home or who can take her to a quiet workplace with them. Out there somewhere is Dill's special person who will get the same wonderful results from her as her fosterer does
