Dozer

This is Dozer, a male American Bulldog aged 2-and-a-half-years.

His present owner reports:
We bought Dozer from a so-called breeder when he was 6 months old. He was one of three puppies left and lived in their garage with no socialisation at all.

Dozer didn't like hand contact and was very scared of people.

He is good with other dogs as long as they are not too small. He doesn't like cats. 

He lives at the moment with a Boxer but they are very boisterous when out.

I have done a lot of training work with him and he is now quite confident outside, however he doesn't like to be left alone for too long.

He lives with my ex-husband and son (15) 
he is about 7-8 stone and very strong, He doesn't know how big he is and is so dozy that he can hurt without realising it.

He will need to be with people who understand the breed and temperament. 

Although Dozer likes children he is better with  teenagers, due to his clumsiness. 

Dozer loves to cuddle and sit on you but is still a little nervous of strangers every now and then.
