Isaac

Isaac is a 7-year-old ex-breeding Cavalier.
He is a lovely gentle dog who gets on fine with other dogs.

Isaac will NOT be homed with young children. He could live with older sensible teenagers. Visiting grandchildren will be OK in time.

Isaac needs to be homed with another dog or two. He will go for walks with our other dogs but not so keen on his own. He will trot along quite happily but occasionally needs a carry to reassure him and will then trot along again.

Isaac has a Grade 3 heart murmur which does not currently need any medication.

Isaac has lived all his life on a puppy farm so is only just getting used to life in a home. He is however adjusting very well and will lie on your lap and enjoys a fuss.

Isaac is happy to sleep in a dog bed and is enjoying being warm, comfy and having a full tum.

A new owner will need to be very patient and not rush Isaac.

He will not be able to go off lead for some time, if ever.

New owners need to be aware it can take an ex-puppy farm dog time to house train and learn to do things. Isaac is almost there but we have had some accidents. So please, consider this before you apply for Isaac.

We don't know what Isaac is like with cats.

Isaac has a limp which has been investigated. The vet believes it is a knee cap which has slipped and sadly (and very painfully) was left untreated so has now fused in wrong place. It doesn't seem to bother Isaac now and vet says he is no longer in pain. He can walk and runs in garden quite happily.
