9 Year Old Male
Black Labrador

Max has come to us to find a new home through no fault of his own. When he arrived he was not in the best of conditions but after seeing the vets is doing well. He has had a fatty lump removed from his hock and has several other fatty lumps
They have all been checked and we would only remove them if they started to grow or cause him problems due to size or location.

He has also had surgery on his eyelids as he had entropian on both eyes. This will have caused him a great deal of discomfort. They are healing well and he is now pain free. Max is a great lad, he is a big Labrador but he is gentle and loves a fuss, Max is happiest cuddled up next to you on the sofa or the bed, if he can possibly get away with it.

Max would like new owners who are around for a good part of the day, he would be fine homed as an only dog or with another older gentle laid back canine companion. He is fine with cats and takes no notice of them at all. Max is a little nervous getting into the car but once in settles well and travels without issue. He is both clean and quiet. He would be fine to be homed with older teenage children who understand he may sometimes be happier to have some peace and quiet.

He is a great lad who would love his forever home where he will be looked after as he deserves to be. He has been neutered, had his first vaccination and micro chipped, he is up to date with flea and worming treatment and has had his teeth scaled and polished.
Max is currently on foster in Grays Essex. For further details regarding dogs available from Pro Dogs Direct please email or visit our website and complete an online application form. (Please note application form not IPad or phone compatible). Home checks and set donation apply.
