THEA:
15 month old female
GSD cross (likely Collie).

Just look at this truly beautiful girl. She arrived in foster at 10 months old as a pup who likes to have her own way and without any manners. Over the months, she has finished her growing and is a beautiful, robust, healthy girl. She is so glorious looking that she attracts a lot of attention on walks. She is the size of a small GSD about 26 kg.

Thea is highly intelligent and full of energy and life. She enjoys the company of other dogs, eats and sleeps without issue and, as long as there is another/other dog (s), can be reliably left for reasonable periods on a regular basis. She is loving, playful and funny and simply loves affection. The arrived fully housetrained and has never once blotted her copy book. Whilst her transformation to the dog she is now is wonderful to see, any prospective owner would have to be prepared to keep up what she sees as their end of the bargain in order to enjoy a fabulous loving partnership with her; namely PLENTY of exercise and stimulation, predominantly off lead. Plenty means 2-3 hours a day - in all weathers and without fail. This is her number one requirement due to her breed/nature and age. She travels well in the car and likes to look out of the window en route to her destination. She would be an excellent candidate for fly ball/agility.

Her ideal owner would have lots of time and energy to devote to her as well as experience of untrained rescue dogs that start off as full on bombastic teenagers needing taming - someone who knows that what you then end up with after this is a superior life companion. Thea needs a reasonable sized fully fenced garden to a height of 6 feet. She is an easy dog in many respects (in the house, no problem at all) but a challenging dog in others (meeting her needs for exercise, training and stimulation).

Thea has been neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped and is up to date with flea and worming treatments. She is currently being fostered in Hastings.
